Cookies and analytics
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer or mobile device containing information. In technical terms, cookies can be divided into two types. One type saves a file permanently on your computer. The other is not stored permanently on your computer, but instead disappears when you close your web browser. The latter type is called session cookies and is used at Visitsweden.com. A session cookie is a randomly generated ID that identifies a web browser during your visit to a website, so the latter does not need to store information for many different users.
How do we use cookies?

Cookies allow servers to automatically collect the data in log files, such as browser type, operating system and the date of the visit. Cookies also enable the display of targeted advertising (retargeting) based on the collected data anonymous.
The cookies used at visitsweden.com are not used for storing sensitive information for the purpose of recording your behavior or for any other purpose that might threaten your privacy or security.
Using visitsweden.com-pages (including the different languages domains, like visitsweden.de, visitsweden.it etc) you agree that we can place cookies on your browser.
We use Google Analytics to collect and analyze visitor data. Cookies are used to collect information such as how many times a visitor has visited our site and how long the visit lasted. Also, this data is anonymous, that is, it can’t be inferred from a single browser user. For more information: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/
